CTTC INTAKES AND DISCHARGES

During FY '05, 184 residents were accepted into the program at CTTC. The total served for the year was 272 individuals. This figure represents a 9% increase in the number served from FY '04.  The increase in the number of beds allowed for an increase in over-all served.

68% (126) of the intakes in FY ’05 involved primary offenses of DWI or other drug related offenses. 65% (120) of the intakes in FY ’05 were the result of a modification of community supervision and 35% (64) were placed into CTTC by the courts as an initial condition of probation. These statistics are strong evidence that CTTC is a significant prison diversion resource.

The following chart shows program activity for the previous five year period.

CTTC discharged 179 residents in FY '05. The number of discharges increased 9% from FY '04. The majority of the discharges continue to be as a result of successful completion of the program, with 154 (86%) in FY '05. The average length of stay for individuals that successfully completed the program in FY '05 was 204 days, a decrease of 11% from FY '04.

This chart displays the discharge activity for the past five years.
