AGE AND RACE DISTRIBUTION

The following chart illustrates the number of intakes by age grouping. The age distribution of the population showed an even distribution, with 51% (94) of the intakes in the 29 or younger age groups and 49% (90) in the 30+ age group.

The distribution of race has changed slightly from FY '04. The Anglo population continues to dominate the number of intakes, with 75% in FY '05, up from 72% in FY '04. Hispanics represented 14% of intakes, a decrease from 17% in FY '04 and African-American remained at 11% of intakes. The following chart illustrates the race distribution for FY '05.
