GENDER DISTRIBUTION

The majority of the population at CTTC is male, accounting for 70% (129), while female offenders made up 30% (55) of the new admissions in FY '05. The gender distribution by offense type shows that of the 183 felony offenders admitted to CTTC in FY '05, females accounted for 30% (54) and males for 70% (129). The only misdemeanor admission was female.
