Williamson County CSCD Receives Award

On August 8, 2000, the Williamson County CSCD was honored with Best Over-All Annual Report by the Texas Probation Association at the Annual Legislative Conference that was held in Fort Worth, Texas.

Each year, the Texas Probation Association holds an Annual Report Contest.  Submissions are judged by TPA's Publications Committee on content and presentation.  In FY '99, the CSCD took a different approach in publishing the Annual Report.  Instead of producing a few printed reports, the report was published on the Web.  Additionally, a limited number of reports were produced on CD Rom.

Williamson County has won the Best Annual Report from the Adult Discipline the two previous years; FY '97 and FY '98.

Following is a photo of Publications Committee Chairman Dan Richard Beto presenting the award to Director Rick Zinsmeyer and Special Projects Coordinator Leroy Barriga.
