CTTC Intakes

About 58% of the intakes in FY ’00 involved primary offenses of DWI or other drug related offenses. Furthermore, 36% of the intakes in FY ’00 were the result of a modification of community supervision; and 64% were placed into CTTC by the courts as an initial condition of probation. These statistics are strong evidence that CTTC is a significant prison diversion resource.

In FY '00, 160 residents were accepted into the program, serving 229 individuals. This figure represents a 4% decrease in the number served from FY '99.  The latest treatment approach increased the lengths of stay for residents and decreased the number of residents accepted into the program.  The average length of stay for individuals in FY 2000 was 187 days.
